This screen grab shows where i have added 'fade in and out' to a title sequence. Where you can see to f's on either side of a title sequence is where the fade in and out have been added. To add the fade in and out you should go on effects which should be next to the button of the video clips, you then go on to video transitions, dissolve and finally click and drag the fade in and out on either side of your title sequence.
This screen grab shows one of my title sequences appearing on my clip. To add the title sequence i clicked on the small 'a' on the bottom right of the first video square. You then click onto text and text again. once that is done you go onto controls, add the tex font etc. Then click on the video icon which is next to the control one (on the left). To adjust where you wanted the title sequence, either right or left or centre you clicked on the third icon of the 3 icons showing at the top of the screen (looks like a square). Then click on image and wireframe, move the title sequence and finally drag it to where you would like to appear.
